Meadow Barns White Walk (print)
A Story-Walk with 10 stopping places and 10 tales to read, on a circular route from the Meadow Barns Centre PL24 2SA, into the eastern side of Luxulyan Valley World Heritage Site. We call this the White Walk, because there are white signs to follow.
The focus for these stories is 19th century green technologies - of mining and quarrying processes, driven by waterwheels. There is a handy introduction to these STEM topics, and lots of informative illustrations.
But don't think it will be all serious and boring! There are some great tales of people, both posh and working class, the impressive and the rascals.
A print-your-own PDF. Visit www.themeadowbarns.co.uk for suggestions on various rain resilient options, A5 or A4 size. Also a big display version in A3.
